Save the Children UK

Our Lives was a unique exhibition and funding campaign offering a glimpse into the lives of UK children growing up in poverty. The exhibition featured some of the UK’s leading photographers: Liz Hingley, Laura Pannack, Simon Roberts, Chris Steele-Perkins, Carol Storey and Abbie Trayler-Smith.

Save the Children UK wanted to create a body of work that captured these children’s lives on terms that they and their families were happy with to share with the British public, at a time when 3.5 million children live in poverty in the UK – one of the worst rates of child poverty in Europe.

The exhibition was held at The House of St Barnabas in Soho, London, October 2011.
