I’m going to be running a week long workshop in Athens this Autumn in collaboration with Art Foto Mode, from 26-30 September 2022.

Art Foto Mode is an educational project that produces creative and experimental photography workshops with some of the most influential contemporary photographers as teachers and inspirational mentors. Workshops by Art Foto Mode have taken place in Berlin and have been conducted by photographic auteur’s including, Michael Ackerman, Anders Petersen, Antoine d’Agata, John Gossage, Brad Feuerhelm, and with Todd Hido at Chateau de La Salle in Burgundy, France. The aim of Art Foto Mode is to provide participants with a unique and productive experience that will enhance their creative output beyond the workshop, in locations that always provide context and inspiration. Previously Art Foto Mode was called Berlin Foto Kiez, founded in 2016 by Michael Grieve and Vivia de la Chesnais.

A unique opportunity to work with acclaimed British artist-photographer Simon Roberts, whose recent commission for Pallant House Gallery, Inscapes, explores our relationship to landscape.

Start with a walk in the Sussex Downs before returning to the studio at Pallant House to look collectively at the photos you have taken and discuss landscape practice.

Details on meeting points and logistics to be supplied two weeks before the course begins.
