So close to heaven, Galerie Bietigheim-Bissingen

Several works from my Celestials and Cloud Negatives series are including in the group exhibition „DEM HIMMEL SO NAH – WOLKEN IN DER KUNST“ (So close to heave – Clouds in art). It opens this weekend at the Municipal Gallery in Bietigheim-Bissingen and runs until March 2026.

This exhibition, in co-operation with the Kunsthalle Emden, unites works from several centuries and encompasses more than 40 international artists, from Albrecht Dürer to Bjørn Melhus. The paintings, prints, photographs, installations, and video works explore various aspects of the cloud motif: from pure observation of nature to symbolic concepts and aesthetic experiments.
