Created to mark 01 January 2021, the official end date of the Brexit process, this set of photographic prints features images of the three Conservative Prime Ministers who held office over the course of the Brexit process. Extreme close-up photographs from a scanned newspaper image of David Cameron, Theresa May and Boris Johnson are superimposed with a text version of The Brexit Lexicon, a unique compendium of the most common terms that have shaped the discussions of Brexit in both politics and the media.
The work will be shown in the second edition of the Bienal Fotografia do Porto, which will be held from May 14 to June 27, 2021.
The Sunday Times Magazine features a series of my photographs of David Cameron today. You can read the Eleanor Mills’ article ‘I have problems with the Thatcher legacy’ here and download a pdf of the article here.

British Prime Minister, David Cameron, prepares a fruit salad for lunch in his constituency home in Witney, Oxfordshire. There’s no pasty in sight, but there is a pork pie!
The photograph was taken while I was on commission with the Sunday Times Magazine in 2007 to do a profile of Cameron when he was opposition leader.
