A series of portraits of Aston Martin owners shot in the grounds of Wilton House commissioned for Aston Martin’s AM Yearbook.
The format of the photographs were based on compositions by the British portrait painter George Stubbs (1724–1806). Working largely as a portrait painter of the aristocracy throughout the 1740s, Stubbs is best known for his highly polished paintings of animals.
These portraits reference the following paintings-
A Grey Hunter with a Groom
Lady Reading in a Wooded Park
Portrait of a Huntsman
Horse and Rider
Firetail with his Trainer
Lord Clanbrassil with Hunter Mowbrary Stubbs
A Jockey with a Chestnut Racehorse
